SpiderCapo Harmonik Mutes Attachment

Christian Wissmuller • Accessories • September 3, 2015

Create natural harmonics with any open string, while fingered notes still sound as played.

This is possible because the depressed string is pushed down below the mute. When attached at the nut, and used as a mute, Harmonik Mutes will help control string-ring build up and feedback without altering the tone of your instrument. (unlike traditional “feedback eliminators” and notch filters that suppress the entire frequency band).

Because the SpiderCapo (NAMM: Best in Show) is the only capo that does not attach behind the neck, the Harmonik Mutes can sound natural harmonics at the 19th, 12th, 7th,or 5th, fret on any guitar or bass. They can attach to any SpiderCapo model including the wide-neck XXL.
