Buffet Crampon 400 Series Saxophones

Christian Wissmuller • Band & Orchestra • February 9, 2021

Since their introduction in 2006, the Buffet Crampon 400 Series professional alto, tenor and baritone saxophones have cemented their reputation as a world-class saxophone without the world-class price.  400 Series saxophones are available in either rich gold lacquer or matte finish and feature a long list of standard features found on much more expensive professional saxophones, including ribbed construction, high F# key, Pisoni pads, double bracing on the low C, B and B-flat keys for the alto and tenor, and beautiful hand engraving throughout the instrument.  400 Series baritones also feature range to low A, allowing them to play the most advanced literature.

E-flat Alto:  BC8401-1-0 (lacquer) or BC8401-4-0 (matte)

B-flat Tenor:  BC8402-1-0 (lacquer) or BC8402-4-0 (matte)
