Mapex Armory series keeps getting better and better with the addition of 2 new stunning finishes to the existing lineup.

The Birch/Maple/Birch Hybrid shells are appointed with a beautiful outer veneer of Olivewood setting the stage perfectly for bursting lacquer finishes evoking celestial, haunting tones of the Night Sky and the lush multicolor panorama of the Rainforest. All the innovative features Armory Series is known for are in place including the SONIClear tom suspension system and floor tom feet which increase overall resonance by preserving vibration in the shell, triple flanged hoops, and low-contact bass drum claws.

The SONIClear™ bearing edge profile on all toms and bass drums allows for a quality transmission of sound from head to shell, reduces unwanted overtone frequencies, and provides a strong fundamental pitch. Armory series drums produce gorgeous full tones with a rich projection and an effortless tuning experience making these instruments sound and feel as good as they look.
