Bollywood star joins Faith roster

Faith Guitars has signed up guitarist and Bollywood star, Sanjeev Thomas as its latest brand endorsee.

His first guitar is a Faith FVHG, with other models to be added to his collection soon.The multi-award winning artist – who was approached by Furtados Music, Faith Guitars’ Indian distributor – has been featured in many Indian blockbuster Bollywood and South Indian movie soundtracks, many of which have been directed by the much-celebrated A.R Rahman.

He was also one of the first artists in India to take part in Coke Studio MTV India and MTV Unplugged. At AVIMA 2010, the world’s largest Indie awards featuring over 26 countries, Sanjeev T won their highest honour. He has also been nominated in six categories at the INDIEGO Asia Music Awards. He tours the world with Oscar and Grammy Winning Music Director A.R Rahman on his prestigious JAI HO tour.

In 2014, he set up his own music school and recording facility in Bengaluru, looking to give something back to the community. “Everybody comes from a different background,” he said, “and the school is open to all of them. The idea is to create a space where different ideas come together to make great music, and then help them follow whatever path they’d like to.”
