New DigiTech distortion available

Ronnie Dungan • MMR Global • July 29, 2015

DigiTech has launched a new distortion pedal in the UK, available through distributor, Sound Technology.

The Gunslinger utilises a newly designed MOSFET circuit to deliver a range of distortion tones, from slightly overdriven to full-on high-gain.

It also comes with separate Low and High tone controls, a wide range of gain, output and a choice of 9V or 18V operations. The DOD Gunslinger’s MOSFET circuit clips at a gradual, steady rate when overdriven, offering clipping properties and harmonics similar to those from pre-amp tubes in a guitar amp. The distortion is designed to calm down when users play softly and become more aggressive when they play that way.

Also, the pedal offers independent Gain, Level, Low (Tone) and High (Tone) controls. Its 9V DC power supply input and compact size also make it pedal board-friendly.

Features:

• MOSFET Distortion Circuit

• Independent Gain, Low, High and Level Controls

• True Bypass

• 9V to 18V Operation

• Crisp Blue Status LED

• Aluminum Chassis

The DOD Gunslinger MOSFET Distortion pedal is available now at £85 RRP inc VAT.
