Brass and woodwind brand Odyssey, has added three new models introduced to the Symphonique range.
All designed by Peter Pollard, the OFL7500 Wood Body C Flute Outfit (RRP £1,999) is made from grenadilla wood, this has the same sustain and carrying power of a silver flute, making it suitable not just for solo or chamber music but also a modern symphony orchestra. Precision-crafted tone holes of inset grenadilla allow wider sized holes like those of metal flutes, contributing to it’s warm, natural sound, accurate intonation and tonal clarity. The OPC3500 Wood Body Piccolo Outfit (RRP £499) specification includes C key, quality pads and springs, silver-plated keywork and solid wooden body. It comes with a leatherette covered, hard shell case with padded carry bag and includes a cleaning rod and cloth.
