RETAIL HACKS: Improvise your displays

Ronnie Dungan • MMR Global • July 15, 2015

Another time saving, money-managing shortcut from those that know all about running a store…

Jon Parkinson from Taunton woodwind and brass specialist John Packer Ltd says being a bit creative with what you use in your displays can save you money and add something unique.

The store has been serving its local jazz and classical community for over 30 years and offers a service that includes repairs, access to teaching, a well established online offering and educational sales and hire.

Jon’s tip is very simple but it’s cheap and will add a point of difference to how your shop looks and won’t leave you reliant on merchandising and manufacturer displays.

“Don’t just look for display ideas from the obvious sources in the music industry – this perspex display is actually for nail varnish but is perfect for valve oil.”
