Because Drummers Weren’t Already Loud Enough…

Christian Wissmuller • Supplier Scene • January 13, 2014

A Kickstarter campaign has been launched to get DrumPants, described as "the world’s first wearable musical instrument," off the ground.

Built to play more than 100 built-in sounds, including everything from drums and synths to guitars and pianos, DrumPants allow users to produce all manner of drum tones from within their trousers.

The wearable instrument works via a number of sensors, which can be integrated with any apps that accept MIDI or OSC signals. Music that has been created can also be sent via the DrumPants kit to other music apps to loop and edit music.
