John Lennon Educational Tour Bus, Joe Lamond and Mary Luehrsen join GRAMMY Music Education Coalition

The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus will continue its mission to enhance and encourage music education for all by joining forces with the GRAMMY Music Education Coalition and visiting Los Angeles just steps away from Staples Center for GRAMMY week. Although it will not be at its normal spot at NAMM this year, the Bus’ relationship with NAMM remains constant with Joe Lamond leading the Saturday, January 25 event when local students, celebrities will sing “Imagine” to honor the legacy John Lennon has left.

On Friday, January 24, Mary Luehrsen, the director of the NAMM Foundation, will moderate a roundtable discussion in the Bus’ state-of-the-art studios on the importance and impact of music education for all, the focus of the Foundation.

The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus is the premiere non-profit state-of-the-art mobile Pro Audio and HD video recording facility that provides hands-on experiences for students of all ages. In its 23nd year of touring, the Lennon Bus features the latest audio and video technology, gear and products. The Lennon Bus travels across the U.S. and Canada year-round, providing free tours and workshops at schools, retailers, festivals, on tours with headlining artists, and at major industry conferences. Lennon Bus Europe began providing these same opportunities to the young people of Europe when it launched in Liverpool in May 2013.
