KORG Celebrates Modular with Demos and Performances

Christian Wissmuller • Supplier Scene • August 8, 2019

KORG partnered with Chuck Levin’s Washington Music Center for their growing modular meet-up event, a day filled with KORG’s volca modular synth, as well as the minilogue xd. Lead Product Specialist, Nick Kwas, along with synth guru Raymond Johnson, demoed both products live from the store front, illustrating their main features and functions.

“This was a truly awesome event. Being the second Modular Meetup, this one really set the course for what’s to come and the future looks great. Thank you to KORG for their support,” says Adam Levin, manager at Chuck Levin’s Washington Music Center.

Customers were treated to a variety of synth performances on both the volca modular and minilogue xd, as well as open floor time with KORG’s product specialists for support and technical questions.

“Getting to be a part of the Chuck Levin’s synth community was a blast, and it was so rewarding to meet so many musicians with a passion for synthesis and sound design,” states lead product specialist, Nick Kwas. “Events like these give us the opportunity to meet with those who buy and love our gear, and we will continue to partner with retailers across the country to continue reaching consumers who have a passion for KORG.”
