Trade Regrets: Henry Goldrich

Christian Wissmuller • Trade Regrets • February 18, 2021

On February 18, we received the followng sad news from NAMM‘s Dan Del Fiorentino:

Henry Goldrich had some of the most remarkable stories in the industry! As the owner of Manny’s Music retail store in New York City he saw it all. Playing a vital role in Manny’s world renowned reputation, Henry expanded the product line and promoted up-and-coming innovations, which created a strong celebrity customer base. He related stories of selling guitars and accessories to icons such as Jimi Hendrix and Bob Dylan and hosting amazing in-store clinics with the likes of Buddy Rich and Paul Simon! His passion, passed down to his children, was a source of inspiration to many of his employees who have gone on to other careers in the music industry, keeping his legacy alive.

Henry passed away on Wednesday and will truly be missed.
