PMC Launches 25th Anniversary Year at Annual January Meeting

The PMC (Percussion Marketing Council) welcomes all industry professionals to attend the annual percussion industry’s meeting as it launches its 25th anniversary celebration year and three new market development growth initiatives. This meeting is open to all percussion industry manufacturers, distributors, retailers and instructors via advance RSVP through the organization’s website link www.playdrums.com/NAMM

The meeting will take place on Thursday, January 16th in the Anaheim Hilton VISTA LOUNGE, on the 14th floor. A short presentation by the PMC Executive Committee will start promptly at 6:30pm providing specific details of the year-long 25th anniversary celebration and programs, campaigns, and events scheduled throughout the year.

The PMC’s volunteer leadership team has developed creative market development initiatives that can benefit all PMC members, percussion retailers and motivate all percussion players. The January meeting will provide details on three new initiatives:

  • “Lesson with a Master”: providing a live video lessons with internationally-recognized celebrity artists during International Drum Month (May)
  • 25th Anniversary Commemorative-Edition Product Giveaways
  • “Get Your Sticks Together”: free in-store drum lessons, connecting retailers with new drum-studio students

PMC Co-Executive Director Jennifer Paisley-Schuch commented, “As the percussion industry’s official trade association, 2020 represents a celebration of achievement and longevity while also launching very specific programs and continuing campaigns that are dedicated to expanding the market for all percussion products. By creating and educating more players, these positive experiences will create new customers for the products and services we all market to the world.”
