Ashdown Engineering has announced the appointment of Chris Bates as sales director for Ashdown.
Bates will be in contact with you shortly on all matters of sales, with a focus on dealer and distributor support, with web, social media and PR being the driver in today sales in a big way.
To ensure the company’s asset folders with all marketing materials are used with the focus to help customers to be able to use and develop this relationship globally even more than we do today.
Chris Bates joins back with Ashdown after two years out of the industry. He will be supported in Sales with the appointment of a new full time Marketing team including the appointment of Nick Oliver as creative director and Joe Branton as marketing director. Both are looking forward to the challenge ahead.
Bates takes on the role of global sales director with the task ahead to grow and maintain sales to a significant level. Chris will be the point of contact for all sales related relationships from dealers to distributors.

Nick Oliver has been part of the team on and off for the past 10 years or so – now joining the team full time to offer a whole new world of content and structure to our ever growing collection of media including product artworks, user manuals, web images and much more.

Joe Branton has been part of the Ashdown team since last summer and has grown the company’s social presence significantly. Branton takes on the new role of marketing director to oversee Ashdown’s marketing plans, ensuring customers around the world have the right tools to make the sales. He comes from a retail background which brings a wealth of knowledge to the team. Branton’s award-winning podcast “Guitar Nerds” is the most listened to guitar podcast across many of its distribution networks.
