Wooten joins DR roster

DR Strings has added bassist Victor Wooten to its artist line-up.

Wooten, a five-time Grammy winner, author, educator, and founder of Wooten Woods – a nature and music retreat near Nashville – is now using DR’s Pure Blues bass strings.

“Music is vibrations and a direct representation of who we are,” said Wooten. “Strings are vital components to how these vibrations touch the listener. To reach people honestly, we need strings that respond purely. Pure Blues is my choice.”

DR’s Pure Blues bass strings feature Quantum Nickel alloy and aim to offer players a smoother feeling bass string with deep low end, enhanced mids, enhanced punch and clear highs.
