Aguilar Amplification has launched the US-made Tone Hammer series bass amplifier range – the Tone Hammer 700 – in the UK.
Available to order through exclusive UK distributor Barnes & Mullins, the Tone Hammer 700 delivers 700 continuous watts at four or 2.67 ohms, 350 watts at eight ohms and features bass, treble and fully sweepable midrange controls – all in a lightweight 2.22kg compact package.
The Tone Hammer preamp gives the Tone Hammer 700 the same flexible tone-shaping capabilities that have seen the Tone Hammer 350 and 500 amps and D.I / preamp pedal become a firm favourite with bass players all over the world. The combination of a three-band flexible EQ and a subtle midrange Drive distortion control utilising Aguilar’s proprietary AGS circuit project an incredible harmonic depth and emphasise the rich and warm overtones of a tube bass amp.
It also features a series effects loop, XLR balanced output and two rear panel speakon outputs. It also features a universal mains input means it can be used anywhere in the world.
