With manufacturing now fully up and running at its Toledo HQ, Manuel Rodriguez has re-issued its handmade in Spain range of guitars.
The revamped models come direct from its newly re-established factory in Esquivias, Toledo, Spain, having moved production from the Far East.
The MR10 (£349) , MR11 (£399 ) and MR12 (£429) models all feature solid cedar tops, indian rosewood bridge and fingerboards, mahogany necks, silver plated tuners and bone nut and saddles.
Using Solid Cedar or German Spruce tops the Caballero range includes Student (C1 £499), Flamenco (C3F £579), Studio (C3 £629) and the Fishman Presys equipped MCR11 electro-acoustic cutaway model (£599).
The A Classic (£679) and MRCA Classic Cutaway (£1049) models combine a Solid Red Cedar tops with Indian Rosewood laminate back and sides, Mahogany necks, Indian Rosewood fingerboards, headstock and bridge. Meanwhile an LR Baggs EQ provides the MRCA11 preamp system.
The BC1-BOCA (£1199) electro-acoustic cutaway features a Solid Red Cedar/Spruce top with Solid Cypress back and sides, a Cedar neck reinforced with Ebony and Indian Rosewood fingerboard, bridge and headstock. A Fishman Presys on-board EQ provides tonal control.
The Flamenco Spruce Classic (FF £1199) couples a Solid German Spruce top with Solid Cypress back and sides. The Ebony reinforced Honduras Cedar Neck features an 19-fret Ebony fingerboard and the FF comes complete with an hardshell case.
Meanwhile the model D Madagascar Classic (£1499) comes with a Red Cedar and Solid Spruce top with laminate Madagascar Rosewood Back and sides. The Ebony/Cedar neck has a Ebony fingerboard and Indian Rosewood bridge and headstock. Gold plated machine heads and a bone saddle/nut complete its impressive spec.
The FG-I India All Solid Classic’s (£1999) Solid Red Cedar Top is matched to solid Indian Rosewood back and sides, with Cedar neck and Ebony fingerboard and Indian Rosewood bridge and headstock.
Finally, the FC PRO Cedar Classic (£1599) features a Solid Cedar/Solid Spruce Top with Solid Indian Rosewood back and sides, Ebony fingerboard and Indian Rosewood bridge and headstock.
