FBT adds JTS Professional mics

Audio specialist FBT Audio has added exclusive UK and Ireland distribution of the JTS Professional microphone range to its roster. 

FBT is establishing an exclusive dealer network numbering more than 50 retail outlets for the range, alongside a selection of preferred install and rental partners.

“JTS has always manufactured extremely high quality wireless and wired microphone products, hence the brand’s ongoing popularity within the UK – one of the world’s most discerning markets,” commented FBT Audio UK Managing Director, Mark Parkhouse. “But with the next generation JTS wireless products that are now appearing, for example the UF-20 series and the forthcoming installation ranges, the time has now come to push JTS Professional to the next level.”

Parkhouse originally helped launch JTS into the UK market in the mid-1990s. The mics are also the first partner brand to be added to the portfolio of FBT Audio UK, which launched in January 2012, exclusively representing the high-end Italian manufacturer FBT Elettronica. 

JTS Professional Vice General Manager, Dowson Yu, said: “I have known Mark for more than 20 years as a trusted business partner and also a friend. Mark has already contributed a lot in building the JTS Professional brand within the UK, especially in the earlier years. He is ambitious and hands-on with very innovative marketing ideas. I am confident that JTS Professional will benefit greatly from its new association with FBT Audio UK.”

Plans are already underway to exhibit the JTS Professional range at upcoming trade events including BPM/PRO, Plasa London and the regional Plasa focus shows. FBT Audio UK is also intending to take both FBT and JTS on an education-focused tour of the UK in 2016.
