JHS adds portable PA duo to Kinsman range

Having already produced a range of Kinsman electric acoustic and bass amplification and launching a pair of affordable, user-friendly Kinsman mixing desks last year, JHS has now added two portable multi-purpose PA systems to the brand.

Designed for buskers, schools, corporate speaking and a multitude of other applications, the Kinsman KPA08 Portable PA System (£249 UK rrp) is a compact, self-contained and easy to transport system that can be mains powered or run from its internal rechargeable battery. With dedicated Mic, Instrument and Phono inputs, plus USB and SD card connectors with push button controls and LCD display and Bluetooth connectivity, the KPA08 is incredibly versatile. A simple EQ layout of Treble, Middle Bass and Master volume makes it easy to use, whilst the inbuilt wheeled base and collapsible trolley handle helps with transportation. The internal rechargeable battery will run for over six hours at its full 15-watt power output when fully charged, and the entire unit can be mounted on any standard speaker stand thank to its pole mount socket on the base.

For those who need more volume but still want to retain portability, the Kinsman KPA100C (£399 UK RRP) is a powerful yet compact 100-watt PA System with internal five channel mixer, speakers, microphone, cables and speaker stands. 

Comprising of twin 10” speakers with hi-frequency horns, the KPA100C has four dedicated Mic/Instrument channels, with the fourth channel also providing stereo jack inputs. Furthermore a separate channel provides CD/MP3 input/output via stereo phono connectors. Each channel has its own Bass, Treble, Reverb controls and master gain sliders, whilst dedicated USB/SD card inputs with push-button controls and a LCD display provides even more versatility.

The KPA100C also comes with 15 built-in preset digital effects, a 5 band graphic EQ with feedback indicator LED’s, Left and right master level slider controls and can be used in either Stereo or Mono output modes. Speaker cables, adjustable speaker stands and switchable microphone are all included and the entire system packs down into a closed hardshell case with castors for easy transportation.
