The JHS-distributed Vintage brand has added two new models to its Reissued Series – the V72HFTB and V72FTB electric models.
The Reissued Series V72HFTB (RRP £299) features a American alder chambered body matched to a one piece hard maple neck. Its has a Wilkinson WFVS six-saddle bridge design, with through-body stringing, plus Wilkinson WHHB double coil pickups, designed to give low frequency response and crisp highs.
Utilising the same woods and materials, the V72FTB (RRP £279) is fitted with a Wilkinson WDG mini double coil pickup at the neck postion, designed for more sustain with increased highs, and is matched to a Wilkinson Alnico V WVTB single coil bridge pickup. The Wilkinson WTB bridge has a cold rolled steel ‘ashtray’ base matching both the pickup and the three intonated brass saddles.
Both guitars feature book-matched flame maple veneer tops, Wilkinson WJ55 machine heads, 22 medium fret rosewood fingerboards and traditional volume, tone, and three way switching controls.
