JHS has appointed Ben Chapman as Media and Artist Coordinator/Product Demonstrator.
Originally from Scarborough in North Yorkshire, Chapman recently relocated to Leeds to continue a career in digital communications. As well as specialising as a copywriter, he has experience in both the music industry and social media marketing.
Chapman said: “It’s a great thrill to be joining the team at JHS, promoting some of the music world’s biggest and most respected brands. For a musician like myself, the opportunity to work with the incredible range of products in our catalogue is a dream come true.”
In addition to being a main point of contact for the press, artists and endorsees, he will promote the many brands under the JHS umbrella via its digital and social platforms, provide stockist staff with product training, put on instore clinics and be a regular feature at the many trade and consumer shows at which JHS promotes its brands.
Meanwhile, JHS has won the 2017 award for ‘On-Stage New Distributor of the Year’.
In the year since JHS began distributing On-Stage’s popular assortment of stands, cables, microphones and accessories, the company says, the range has proved to be a huge success: ‘…with the combination of affordability and high quality finding favour with musicians of all levels, in addition to providing fantastic sell-through for our dealers’.
