Next year’s Frankfurt Musikmesse has been boosted by the news that Meinl is returning to the show.
Following a year’s break Meinl, which has traditionally been one of the show’s biggest exhibitors, has announced that it will participate in Musikmesse 2017, which will be seen by the organiser as a major endorsement of its new show format.
“As organisers, we have invested intensively in Musikmesse this year. For 2017, we are working on providing companies from the musical-instrument industry with the best possible presentation opportunity”, said Michael Biwer, Group Show Director. “With the Musikmesse Brandworld concept in the Drums product segment, we are focusing branded product presentations, live performances and education in an attractive area. This year’s Drum Camp was a first step in this direction. We are delighted that we have been able to convince Meinl Cymbals, at an early stage, with this new concept, which we will be announcing shortly.”
“Musikmesse’s Brandworld concept has convinced us to take part again. One of Musikmesse’s key elements will be hosting performances by internationally renowned artists. We are looking forward to presenting our cymbal artists together with Musikmesse to an appreciative audience”, explained Reinhold Meinl, the firm’s eponymous CEO. “After a year’s absence from exhibiting at Musikmesse, Meinl Cymbals is pleased to continue supporting the drum community at one of the world’s most prestigious musical-instrument conventions.”
Musikmesse will be held from 5th-8th April 2017, concurrently with Prolight + Sound.
