Natal launching new Meta snares

Marshall’s Natal drum brand has expanded with the addition of its new Meta Series of alloy snare drums, which it is debuting at this weekend’s Glasgow Drum Show. 

The new line is a selection of 13” and 14” diameter alloy snare drums in depths of 5.5” to 8”. It includes Hand Hammered, Beaded Hand Hammered or Flat shell in a variety of classic alloys and finishes including: Steel, Chrome, Black Nickel, Copper, Brass, Aged Bronze and Aluminium – all with brushed nickel hardware fittings.

The drums have been designed to offer drummers of all levels either as a main kit snare drum or as a second snare. All feature brushed nickel Originals Series hardware fittings: Sun lugs, Tri-Throw snare mechanism, Tru-Tune tension rods, triple flanged hoops and Evans heads.

Meta Series will preview at the Glasgow Drum Show this weekend, Sunday 22nd May. All Meta alloy variations will be on the Natal stand to try out – stand number 1.  

Hand hammered

  • Fully hand hammered 1mm steel shell in Old Bronze plated finish.
  • Brushed nickel lugs hoops, throw-off and tension rods. 
  • 20 strand Natal snare wire.
  • Natal branded fabric snare tapes.
  • Die-cast Natal Sun logo badge.
  • 14×5.5, 14×6.5, 14×8.

Beaded Hand Hammered 

  • Half-hammered double beaded 1mm brass or black nickel/copper plated steel gloss lacquered shell.
  • Brushed nickel lugs hoops, throw-off and tension rods. 
  • 20 strand Natal snare wire.
  • Natal branded fabric snare tapes.
  • Die-cast Natal Sun logo badge.
  • 13×6.5, 14×6.5.

Steel

  • Flat 1mm chrome steel shell.
  • Brushed nickel lugs hoops, throw-off and tension rods. 
  • 20 strand Natal snare wire.
  • Natal branded fabric snare tapes.
  • Die-cast Natal Sun logo badge.
  • 14×6.5, 14×8.

Brass

  • Flat 1mm brass shell.
  • Brushed nickel lugs hoops, throw-off and tension rods. 
  • 20 strand Natal snare wire.
  • Natal branded fabric snare tapes.
  • Die-cast Natal Sun logo badge.
  • 14×8.

Copper

  • Flat 1mm brass shell.
  • Brushed nickel lugs hoops, throw-off and tension rods. 
  • 20 strand Natal snare wire.

Aluminium
