Yamaha has appointed Kaneda Hideo to be the new CEO of its Korean division

Hideo began his career at the Japanese company in 1986, and has served in various roles. He oversaw the firm’s sales and marketing in China from 2006 through 2012. From 2013 to 2015, he headed up Yamaha’s operations in Taiwan.
“I will do my best to offer high-quality services to our customers,” Hideo said. “To do so, I will try to grasp the Korean market as quickly as possible.
“To remain as a leader in the rapidly changing musical instrument and acoustic systems markets, we will continue to introduce innovative and differentiated products and services.”
