New Seagull mandolin launches

Canadian guitar brand Seagull, has launched a new domestically manufactured mandolin, available in the UK through 440 Distribution.

Sporting a maple neck-through body, the S8 features a solid Sitka spruce top with a rosewood fingerboard. The maple neck features a double function truss rod for extra durability and easy adjustment and the mandolin comes with Graph Tech Tusq top nut and compensated saddle for improved intonation and smoother tuning.

It has a 13.875” scale and a nut width of 1.19”, and comes in a semi-gloss custom polish finished in either natural or burnt umber.

Sole distribution in the UK is by 440 Distribution and it is available at an RRP of £299 in natural or £349 in burnt umber.
