The range of compact effects pedals from Xvive continues to grow with two new signature pedals from German guitar virtuoso Thomas Blug.
The Sweet Leo (X02 £59.99) allows you to blend a cleaner, more elegant overdrive tone with shimmering high end redolent of a iconic Class A valve amplifier. Crank up the Drive and Growl controls to achieve a dirty overdriven ‘tweed’ amp sound.
“From soft and warm like a kitten, to a dirty growling and roaring lion! Clean, transparent vintage tones and anything in between,” said designer, Thomas Blug.
Meanwhile the DynaRock (XT2 £59.99) is an open dynamic and warm pedal that mimics the natural tone of tube amplification.
“There are tons of punch and dynamic expression for classic rock tones in this little pedal,” added Blug, “think classic gain with real tubelike dynamics.”
