Audio-Technica is set to showcase a wide range of products from its microphone and headphone ranges and the latest offerings from Allen & Heath and Apart Audio at PLASA Focus 2016 at The Royal Armouries in Leeds on 10th–11th May.
In addition, Audio-Technica Senior Technical Product Specialist, Rodrigo Thomaz (pictured) will be hosting a seminar entitled Exploring The Advantages Of 100 Volt Line Audio Systems on Wednesday 11th May at 2pm in The Royal Armouries’ Wellington Room.
Presented in conjunction with The Institute of Sound and Communication Engineers, the session will look at the difference between low impedance and 100 Volt Line speakers, tackling the myths of installing 100V Line systems to make installations easier and quicker.
The recently launched Audio-Technica ATM350a clip-on condenser microphone – with its exemplary range of instrument mounts (from piano to woodwind to drums) – will appear alongside the new ATM230 hypercardioid and AE2300 cardioid dynamic instrument microphones, System 10 PRO digital wireless, affordable AT-One UHF wireless systems and M50x and M70x professional monitoring headphones.
Having taken on UK distribution for Apart Audio earlier in 2016, Audio-Technica will be showing the Belgian brand’s range of installation and AV audio products for the first time at PLASA Focus.
Set to appear are Apart speakers including the popular CM20T and CMX20T two-way models, the weather-proof rock-design ROCK20 and flat, wall-mounted SUBLIME. In addition, the company’s AUDIOCONTROL12.8 DSP-powered audio matrix, PC1000RMKII CD/USB/SD-card music player and a selection of installation-focused amplifiers will also be at the show.
Allen & Heath’s mid-size dLive S5000 digital mixing control surface will be the centrepiece of the A&H display at the show, with the new Qu-SB portable digital mixer also making its Leeds event debut. Designed for iPad control, the 18 in – 14 out mixer allows great flexibility for live sound, AV and installation applications. Equally install-friendly are the GR3 and GR4 rack-mount mixers and Qu-16 digital mixing desk which will be available for visitors to get hands-on with.
