Sakae Drums and SVM Percussion are presenting a series of instore clinics featuring double Grammy-winner Jonathan Joseph (Jeff Beck, Joss Stone) and new addition to the Sakae UK roster, Frankie Tontoh (Amy Winehouse, George Michael, Brother Strut).
Among the many other major musical heavyweights Jonathan Joseph has drummed with are Jeff Beck, Alexander O’Neal, Al Jarreau, Mike Stern, The Yellowjackets, Betty Wright, Beverly Knight, Bill Evans, David Sanborn, Josef Zawinul, Joss Stone, Pat Metheny, Ricky Martin and Randy Brecker.
In addition to recording and touring with George Michael and Amy Winehouse and spending 10 years as Craig David’s musical director/drummer, Frankie Tontoh recently recorded two Grammy-winning albums for Colombian artist Santiago Cruz and has drummed for a host of other artists including Gary Barlow, Al Green, Tanita Tikaram, Tasmin Archer, Level 42, Des’ree, Gabrielle, Roachford, Courtney Pine, Beverley Knight and Joss Stone. He currently tours and records as part of Brother Strut.
