Shure expands Euro office network

Microphone specialist Shure, has opened three new offices across Europe, including a new Russian offshoot and added a new Norwegian audio distributor.

The firm opened an office in Dubai last year to marshall the Middle East and Africa region and has now added to its European office network with market development centres in Switzerland and Austria, while also establishing a regional office in Moscow – Shure REE.

Herbert Muff will head Shure’s market development office in Switzerland, while Gerd Kostial will run Austria. Angelika Oernfelt will take charge of the Moscow office. All will report to Ron Marchant, general manager of EMEA sales, based at Shure EMEA’s headquarters in Eppingen, Germany (pictured).

Earlier this month the firm replaced Scandec Systemer with Siv. Ing. Benum as the exclusive distributor for the DIS audio brand in Norway. The deal covers the entire DIS range of conferencing and interpretation systems.
