Distributor backs Tanglewood down under

Ronnie Dungan • MMR Global • October 28, 2015

Tanglewood is making further progress in the Australian market, with its long-term distributor National Music Australia, launching a nationwide window marketing campaign.

The brand is being featured in shop windows throughout the country, using new signage, including in Australia’s leading ukulele retailer, Lord Uke (pictured)

“After representing Tanglewood guitars in Australia for almost 13 years, we are constantly looking at marketing strategies to maintain the prominent market position we enjoy, and the new dealer signage has been welcomed by our customers as a simple yet valuable aid to product and brand awareness,” said Mike Macmahon, managing director of National Music Australia. “We always work closely with the UK Tanglewood team to filter through similar marketing messages to the end-users, with this latest campaign being designed in-house under our Queensland PR partner’s guidance.

“It is emphasising the values identified as important in the typical purchasing process, and I guess signals one of the main reasons these Pommie guitars are so popular here. Long may it continue.”

Shea Rider, sales director, Tanglewood Guitars, added: “It’s so easy dealing with our great friends at National. They love Tanglewood, they share our values, they support their dealer base to a fantastic degree and this new window marketing campaign underlines their thinking in this regard, and is an indicator as to why they’re such a valued partner.”
