Tracktion Corporation has embarked on an ambitious 2016 agenda that includes at least three major product introductions as well as a complete update of its sales and marketing infrastructure.
Key to the expansion is a new tracktion.com website, created to support the wider product range and streamline the shopping process for visitors.
“Tracktion.com was redesigned and developed from the ground up,” explained Tracktion’s Lead Web Developer, Brian Rink. “It’s now a full-screen, responsive e-commerce site with an emphasis on multimedia elements and a positive user experience (UX). We were careful to utilize a number of popular user interface (UI) patterns to make site navigation as intuitive as possible. So far, the overwhelming visitor response has been excellent.”
In addition to design updates, tracktion.com has seen significant investment in the back end. Now fully hosted by Amazon Web Services, the infrastructure also includes a new secure email server and the entire site supports secure HTTPS connections.
Last year, Tracktion launched the Marketplace on-line store to offer Tracktion, as well as third party software plugins and virtual instruments. The store can be accessed from a web browser or directly from a Tracktion DAW app.
Built on a scalable foundation to better accommodate a number of upcoming in-app features, the new tracktion.com site now adds the Tracktion DAW titles to the Marketplace system to consolidate sales for all Tracktion branded products with a growing list of third party titles under one URL.
