Uriah Heep drummer Russell Gilbrook, has become a Sakae Drums endorsee.
The band have sold over 40 million records and have two European Grammy awards to their name. Russell and the band tour an average of 25 countries a year and are in the process of writing a new album with a world tour to follow.
As a core member of Avantasia along with Eric Martin (Mr Big,) Joe Lynn Turner (Rainbow), Biff Byford (Saxon) and Michael Kiske (Helloween), Russell achieved a number two album with The Mystery Of Time.
“It is a great honour for me to play Sakae Drums,” said Gilbrook. “The sound is what I’ve been searching for, for many years. It reflects my playing completely and is exactly the sound required for a classic rock band like Uriah Heep.”
