Official figures show that his year’s Music China saw visitors numbers increase by 12 per cent year on year.
The Shanghai show drew some 80,468 visitors from 86 countries and regions and 1,782 exhibitors from 30 countries and regions.
Fiona Chiew, Deputy General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (Shanghai) commented: “The exceptional result of Music China 2015 not only shows our leading position in Asia’s musical instrument industry, but also reflects the optimism of the industry towards Asia’s consumer markets amidst the challenging global economy this year.”
Next year’s show will be held from 26th – 29th October 2016 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. Music China is organised by the China Musical Instrument Association, INTEX Shanghai and Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd.
