Washburn Guitars has lined up another new acoustic guitar range launching at NAMM later this month – the Woodline 10 and Woodline 20 Series.
The series will be shown at the show alongside the recently announced Heritage range. The Woodline Series feature solid wood tops with scalloped-X bracing, maple binding and come in dreadnought (D) or orchestra (O) body styles.
They feature solid sitka spruce tops (solid western cedar on the WLO11S and solid mahogany on the WLO12SE), mahogany back, sides and neck, a rosewood fingerboard and bridge, diecast tuners and a custom sound hole rosette. The dreadnought styles are the WLD10S and the WLD10SCE which adds a cutaway and a premium Fishman 301T tuner/preamp. Orchestra styles are the WLO10S, WLO11S and WLO12SE with Fishman 301T and WLO10SCE with cutaway and Fishman 301T.
The Woodline 20 Series feature the same specs as the 10 Series with rosewood back and sides and the addition of black bridge pins and Ebonite tuning buttons. Four models are available, the WLD20S, the WLD20SCE, the WLO20S and the WLO20SCE. Both SCE models feature a cutaway and Fishman 301T tuner/preamp.
