Russia’s only international music-trade exhibition and its biggest international trade fair for event production technology expands product platforms and professional development opportunities as the show returns to Moscow’s Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Centre, September 10-13, 2015. The fourth edition of NAMM Musikmesse Russia, an international fair for musical instruments, sheet music, music production and music business connections and Prolight + Sound NAMM Russia, an international fair of technologies and services for events, installation and production, offer new opportunities for every aspect of the music industry. Russian and CIS music product retailers, distributors, educators, theatre and production professionals, and musicians will find programming tailored for their specific interests. Globally known brands along with public and private supporters are already on board for the September event, indicating that NAMM Musikmesse Russia and Prolight + Sound NAMM Russia 2015 are on track to be the largest gathering yet.

Since the Moscow shows’ inception in 2012, nearly 30,000 Muscovites and international visitors have come to see, hear, and demonstrate products from more than 500 companies and 25 countries. In 2014, the shows’ exhibitor square footage increased 40% and the number of exhibitors and visitors expanded by 42% over 2013. The 2015 shows will be presented in conjunction with the Moscow Ministry of Culture and of the Russian State Duma have the endorsement of The Moscow Ministry of Culture, the Moscow Conservatory, the Russian Guild of Theatre Managers, the Russian Union of Theatre Workers, the Russian state musical TV center “Orpheus,” the Association of Musical Theatres, and many other public and private organizations.

Established music industry brands including Roland, Artimusic, MixArt, Coda Music, and Sintez-Audio are signed on to exhibit at NAMM Musikmesse Russia. Clay Paky, Martin Professional, Show Atelier, SiM, Contactica, Sofitlight, TTS, Stagemarket, MuzTorg, OKNO-Audio, MS-Max, Ruton-S, Sonoruss, Serapid (France), HSE (Italy) and more will showcase their products at Prolight + Sound NAMM Russia.

NAMM Musikmesse Russia, held September 10-13, will fill two pavilions in 2015. One pavilion houses exhibitors of electronic music products and instruments, including synthesizers and electronic keyboards. Pavilion Classique is devoted entirely to classical and acoustic music products and instruments. Teachers and students from the Moscow Conservatory and cello virtuoso George Gusev’s Cello Drive project will perform on the Pavilion Classique’s Acoustic Stage.

Held September 10-12, Prolight + Sound NAMM Russia will spread out across three pavilions at Sokolniki Exhibition Centre. Building on the enthusiasm of last year’s show for performance technologies, one entire pavilion will be devoted to theater production. The Theatre Forum’s program will be presented with the support of the Bolshoi and Mariinsky Theatres, the Russian Guild of Theatre Managers, the Russian Union of Theatre Workers, Bakhrushin Theatre Museum, and other professional associations. Forum events include master classes and workshops with experts such as the Bolshoi’s Damir Ismagilov, and demonstrations and seminars from leading manufacturers.

Additional Prolight + Sound NAMM Russia pavilions will hold forums on rental and event management, radio-industry summits, educational seminars in lighting, media and audio technologies, and demonstrations of concert sound installations.

Professional development sessions at NAMM Musikmesse Russia will meet the diverse business needs of music industry professionals. NAMM University presents sessions specifically tailored to support Russian retailers’ business needs. Piano Days training seminars will cater to piano tuners and other piano masters. And music educators will receive a full slate of training specifically designed for their needs.

Performances and musical competitions featuring popular acts will stage throughout the show on NAMM Musikmesse Russia’s Live Music Stage. Register for a free online ticket through April 2015.
