| The Nomination Form for the 2025 MMR Dealers’ Choice Awards is now live, but time is running out!
2025 marks the 33rd year of MMR presenting these MI industry awards, chosen by the people who actually know which specific instruments, products, and lines of gear are really driving sales today. A reminder: In most categories, we are looking for a specific model instrument or piece of gear (e.g., Electric Guitar of the Year, Microphone of the Year). The exception would be categories where we’re asking you to select the “Line of the Year” (e.g., Accessory Line of the Year) in which case only the brand/company name is needed. ADVERTISEMENT As in recent years, the nomination process is open to anyone and everyone — if you’re a brand that really wants to receive a nomination, feel free to enlist all your employees, and family members, and dealer partners to support your gear; if you’re a dealer who thinks some unheralded, largely unknown instrument deserves some of the spotlight, encourage all your staff to vote. There is, however, only one vote per person. The nomination process ends, and the form ceases to be live, at 5 p.m. ET on Friday, September 5. Nominees will be announced on October 1, at which point voting for the actual DCA winners — only open to current MMR subscribers; one vote per person — begins, with the ballot closing at 5 p.m. ET on Friday, November 21.
