New brands or lines you took on in 2013 with success? This year we have added Bad Cat Amplifiers and had some early success with them. We have also been very successful with 3rd Power Amplifiers, which is a line we picked in January.
Outlook for 2014? We are projecting a modest growth year over year of about five to seven percent. When we opened the business over three years ago we anticipated a mix of 50 percent local sales and 50 percent Internet sales and that has been pretty much dead on.
Evolution in the industry you’re excited about? I’m most excited about there being ever increasing information about small and low production custom builders like we represent available. We feel that education about the differences between small, handcrafted production techniques makes are key to our sales success going forward.
Product of the Year? The hottest selling product line this year is Collings guitars (both electric and acoustic). But our best selling single product this year has been the Grosh NOS Retro electric guitar introduction.
