Absolute Music has teamed up with UK distributor Sound Technology to demo the new Seaboard Rise keyboard controller.
The new-style keyboard and controller, which has a tactile spongy control system rather than traditional keys, will be demonstrated this Saturday (10th October) by Marco Parisi, with Roli experts also in-store all day.
Seaboard Rise is the world’s first truly accessible expressive MIDI controller, says the firm. It aims to combine the intimacy of acoustic instruments with the versatility of electronic music. According to manufacturer Roli, It is the first Expressive MIDI device to offer an easy-to-use multi-platform synth, the first with an integrated user control panel, and the first to perform wirelessly with an integrated battery and MIDI-over-Bluetooth.
The free event, which marks the UK launch of the product, runs from 11am – 5pm and you can register via this link. Seaboard Rise will ship on 10th October with an RRP of £599.
