Taylor Guitars recently received a “Best Acoustic Guitar” category award during the 17th Annual mipa/ Musikmesse International Press Awards.
The company’s new 12-string, 12-fret 562ce guitar was recognized by editors of more than 100 dedicated trade and enthusiast magazines for its amazingly small-bodied design and powerful sound. In the past 14 years, Taylor Guitars have won in the “Best Acoustic Guitar” category 10 times. “We’re honored to be recognized by so many expert industry journalists as the quality standard in acoustic guitars,” said Master Guitar Designer Andy Powers. “The small physical size of the 562ce accentuates the unique qualities of the 12 string guitar both in sonic and tactile ways. Its compact design makes for an appealingly comfortable and sweet sounding guitar.” More than 300 international representatives of musical instrument and audio equipment manufacturers and distributors recently gathered for the 2016 mipa/pipa award show including guests from the USA, Canada, Japan, Brazil, Russia, Poland, Great Britain, Italy, France, Greece, The Netherlands, Belgium, China, Indonesia, Denmark, Austria, Switzerland and Germany.
