The DR-01S Rhythm Partner from Boss is a new instrument that provides percussion backing for acoustic guitarists and other acoustic musicians.
The new device features an integrated sound system and includes ready-to-play rhythm patterns that complement unplugged acoustic instruments.
Users can use the intuitive interface of the DR-01S to access simple patterns and variations that are optimized for acoustic music styles, while dedicated buttons can adjust volume and tempo. Other features include a standard metronome for basic music practice, a sophisticated audio system, an Aux In jack that allows users to play backing music from a smartphone or other device, and a Line Out jack to use for connection to a larger sound system. The DR-01S can also support optional footswitches for start/stop, tap tempo, and triggering sounds.
