CHAUVET Professional has entered into an agreement with the Davenport Theatre to create a product demo and education center in Manhattan. The company will be using the theatre, which is outfitted completely with CHAUVET Professional fixtures, to conduct educational events as well as product demos and training sessions.
“CHAUVET Professional has enjoyed a great deal of acceptance in the theatre market in recent years,” said Albert Chauvet, CEO of Chauvet. “The reception to products like our Ovation E-910FC RGBA-Lime color mixing ellipsoidal has been overwhelmingly positive. Given this growth, we felt that it was time for us to establish a closer connection to the theatre community in New York. The Davenport Theatre provides us with an ideal opportunity to do this, since it provides designers with a chance to see our latest fixtures in an actual theatre setting.”
Among the CHAUVET Professional fixtures at the Davenport Theatre are the Ovation E-910FC, Ovation F-915FC, Maverick MK2 Profile, Maverick MK2 Wash, COLORado 3 Solo, and Ovation B-2805FC batten-style wash, as well as the Ovation E-260WW and E-260CW ellipsoidal fixtures.
In addition to CHAUVET Professional product demos, the theatre will host ChamSys console training sessions. Other events at the theatre will include theatrical lighting lectures and panel discussions on a range of topics.
