Korg USA Inc. announces the hiring of Diana Akhavan as junior creative designer, and James Jackson as customer service/support representative. The addition of these young professionals to the corporate team speaks to Korg USA’s ongoing efforts to build up its back- and front-of-house operations, broaden creative horizons, and provide improved customer experiences.
As the latest addition to Korg’s marketing communications team, Junior Creative Designer Diana Akhavan will work closely with Creative Manager Norm Morales on the implementation and execution of creative design campaigns for Korg USA brands. A recent graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology, Diana majored in Graphic Design with a triple minor in creative technology, film and media, and art history. She’s a talented UX/UI designer with a resume of impressive internships, including CBS Interactive, NBCUniversal, Catchpoint, Magnet Media, and PayPal. Diana says she designs to create great experiences for people and long-lasting brands, and to make people’s lives a little bit easier.
Customer Service/Support Representative James Jackson joins Korg USA with excellent customer service credentials, most recently at Samson Technologies in Hicksville, N.Y. James has extensive training in technical support, including business-to-business (B2B) support for national accounts. At Korg, James will be responsible for giving dealers and customers the best possible experience when they contact Korg USA. James holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business management and audio recording technology from Five Towns College in Dix Hills, N.Y. Additionally, he is a guitarist with more than 10 years’ experience and actively manages his heavy metal band, Skepsis.
Korg USA welcomes Diana Akhavan and James Jackson to its corporate headquarters in Melville, and looks forward to their contributions in creative multimedia and customer support.
