AKG has added to its range of audio accessories, launching the new AKG MDAi CPA Connected PA microphone adaptor.
Featuring embedded ioSYS technology, the small and portable accessory makes the Harman Connected PA System compatible with all AKG dynamic vocal mics, as well as mics from other manufacturers. By adding the AKG MDAi CPA Connected PA microphone adapter to any favoured vocal mic, it automatically configures with the Harman Connected PA app and ecosystem, providing easy setup and instant recall of performer and presets.
“The Harman Connected PA, introduced earlier this year, gives musicians a fast and easy way to set up their PA system and get professional results,” said Noel Larson, Senior Global Manager, Harman Professional Solutions. “Now with the new AKG MDAi CPA Connected PA microphone adapter, performers can reach for their favourite vocal mic and plug directly into the Connected PA System, making it possible to instantly recall vocal presets and get dialled-in results at every performance.”
The Harman Connected PA delivers plug-and-play operation with a variety of Harman equipment and enables complete control from one app. Products within the Connected PA system self-identify and retain presets for easier setup, and setup wizards help quickly optimise volume, configuration settings and sound quality. Additional products with embedded ioSYS technology and Harman Connected PA compatibility include the Soundcraft Ui24R mixer, JBL PRX800W loudspeakers, dbx Di1 direct boxes and AKG P5i microphones.
