TC Electronic has added another to its TonePrint line up, in the form of the Sentry Noise Gate.

Coming just a week after the release of HyperGravity Compressor, the multiband noise gate is built on the same MD3 algorithm as featured in System 6000, TC Electronic’s studio processing device.

Sentry Noise Gate’s multiband setting makes for the “most seamless and organic noise reduction ever heard in a compact stompbox”, according to TC.

It also offers a classic hard-gate mode, designed for heavy players out there who need instant noise removal when suddenly stop playing, along with a loop Send/Return for silencing noisy pedals/amps, without cutting out dynamics or feel. This can even be used for creative sidechaining, so the gate can be in precise sync with other signals.

Using the TonePrint Editor users can shape the gate, and beam custom-made gates to the pedal via the free app. It will be available early October for $129.99 in the US, £95 in the UK  and €129 Europe.
