Each of the system’s four compact LED par fixtures feature twelve 1-Watt colored LEDs (3 x red, 3 x green, 3 x blue and 3 x white) and generate a colored wash of light with a 25-degree beam angle. The par units are constructed from tough molded plastic and are mounted to the central T-bar by variable angle yokes with thumb tightening screws. This means that each of the four individual pars can be independently positioned to point in any direction and then locked securely in place.
Power and control signals are delivered to each of the par fixtures from the central T-bar via a single cable with a proprietary 4-pin connection that locks into a dedicated plug on the bar. Power for all four fixtures is supplied by a single IEC power input on the central bar and a single set of 3-pin DMX input and output connections allow color mixing control from any DMX compatible controller or software system.
The Mini Par Bar is very easy to use and offers various control options. For simple standalone operation, it can be set to run through in-built color chase patterns in either Sound Active mode – triggered by a musical beat detected by an internal microphone – or Auto mode – at a user selectable constant speed. Multiple fixtures can be linked together in either of these modes in a Primary/Secondary configuration to easily create a larger synchronized lighting setup. For integration into a lighting system that includes other fixture types, DMX control is supported using 8 channels. The system is also supplied with a compact IR remote control which offers the following functionality: On/Off, All On, Quick Color Change, Slow Color Change, Strobe, Color Adjustment, Chase Speed Adjustment and DMX Channel Selection.
