Audio-Technica will launch a new and improved version of its ATM350 clip-on cardioid condenser microphone at ProLight+Sound.
The new ATM350a is also now supplied with a range of instrument mounting accessories, making it viable for sound engineers and musicians working on stage or in the studio.
Designed for use on snare drums, toms, strings, piano, brass and woodwind instruments, the ATM350a features an increased SPL handling over its predecessor, by 10dB to 159dB.
A new magnetic piano mount, upgraded universal clip mount (for tighter, more secure fit) and expandable woodwind mounting strap, as well as a flexible gooseneck arm, available in two lengths (which can be attached to any of the above mounting options), further extend the ATM350a’s range of uses.The Audio-Technica ATM350a is available in the following configurations, with recommended retail pricing between £289 – £306 / €379 – €399 (inc VAT):
