Austin Musical Electronics, LLC has announced it has purchased ZT Amplifiers, a leader in powerful, lightweight, and compact musical instrument amplifiers.
Austin Musical Electronics, LLC will do business as ZT Amplifiers and will continue to operate from ZT’s office in Emeryville, California.
Austin Musical Electronics, LLC was founded by Austin Gibbons and Michael Kirschmann, both long-time employees and managers of ZT Amplifiers. Gibbons will oversee Operations, Product Development, & Engineering and Kirschmann will oversee Sales & Marketing.
“Our immediate goal is to establish ZT as a reliable supplier, something that was difficult to achieve in the past.” says Gibbons. “The structure and resources of the new company make this possible.”
Kirschmann added, “We will soon announce some exciting developments with regard to both product and distribution. There is a bright future for ZT.”
