John Batliner has assumed additional responsibility as US AKG Sales Leader in addition to his role as senior director, Sales, Amplifiers BU. In this role, Batliner will be responsible for developing the new US AKG sales structure, driving AKG sales revenue and working closely with channel partners and dealers in the US to ensure the highest level of customer engagement and satisfaction.
Batliner will continue reporting to John Fitzgerald, VP & general manager, Amplifiers & Signal Processing SBU and report dotted line to Jürgen Bopst, general manager, AKG. Batliner will manage US AKG sales, business development and the applications support team.

Batliner has been a member of the HARMAN team for two decades and has held leadership roles at dbx, HPAV and Crown. He holds a Bachelor’s degree and MBA from Purdue University.
