Blackstar Amplification Presents Korg USA with Distributor of Excellence Award

Korg USA Inc. was presented with Blackstar Amplification’s “High Gain Award” for 2015 as a Distributor of Excellence for its sales performance and marketing achievements over the past year.   

Korg achieved a 25% sales growth for Blackstar in the last year and assisted with the successful launch of several products, including the innovative FLY 3 compact mini amp and the Blue-tooth equipped ID Core:Beam multi-purpose amp.

“Korg achieved exceptional growth for the Blackstar brand this past year, as well as outstanding sales management, communication and team work,” shared Joel Richardson, Blackstar’s head of marketing. “Their forward thinking market sense to create incentives for dealers, ability to design and create marketing campaigns that cut through the noise, and willingness to analyse market data has contributed to the success of Blackstar in the US and worldwide,” stated Richardson.

 Over the last year, the artist relations team from Korg USA was able to secure new partnerships with artists from various genres of music including Thomas Rhett, Ministry, Nita Strauss, Frank Hannon, Gateway Drugs, and One-Eyed Doll.
