Buffet Crampon USA, North American distributor of Buffet Crampon student, intermediate, and professional woodwinds, announced a new partnership with Kibo Commerce, the Cloud-based online order commerce platform.
Kibo is the strategic merger of industry leaders MarketLive, Shopatron, and Fiverun and their services are designed to help retailers and Buffet Crampon USA unify the customer experience.
With this partnership, Buffet Crampon USA will now be able to offer on-line shopping to customers directly through its website (www.buffetcrampon.com). Authorized dealers in Buffet Crampon’s dealer network will have the option to become a “Buffet Crampon Fulfillment Partner” through Kibo. Orders placed on the Buffet Crampon website are assigned to the participating retailer that has the desired instrument in stock and geographically closest to the customer. The dealer then ships the purchased item to the customer and receives guaranteed payments for all fulfilled orders.
François Kloc, president and CEO of Buffet Crampon USA, says this will be a new way for customers to access the full line of Buffet Crampon’s clarinets, saxophones and oboes, no matter their location. Ultimately, integration of all Buffet Crampon’s ten brass and woodwind brands will follow. “Our authorized dealers have done a fantastic job of supporting us,” Kloc said, “and our partnership with Kibo will now enable retailers choosing to become Buffet Crampon Fulfillment Partners to reach more customers and stock more of our instruments—it really is a win-win situation for everyone involved.” Kloc added, “There really is no risk for our dealers when considering becoming a fulfillment partner; sign-up is free and there are no monthly fees for being a fulfillment partner.”
