Yamaha is excited to announce two new additions to its marching percussion lineup: the MC-9600 Series Field Corps Marching Carriers and MS-8200 Series Field Corps Marching Stands. Developed with the same quality materials as the drum foot pedals and stands, these products are designed to withstand the demands of marching season after season. The 9600 Series carriers feature washable padding and player-side adjustability for comfort, while the 8200 Series stands offer a lightweight, durable solution for easy transition from the field to the grandstands.
“These products reflect over 55 years of Yamaha’s drum hardware expertise and a dedication to supporting world-class marching ensembles,” says Joel Tetzlaff, Product Marketing Manager, Percussion at Yamaha Corporation of America. “The Yamaha racing blue accents on each carrier and stand are a nod to our passion for performance.”
Yamaha will also debut the YX-2035PR Student Xylophone at PASIC 2024, a next-generation model designed with wider tone bars and gas spring height adjustment to support proper technique and comfort for beginner and intermediate students. Experience these products at PASIC 2024, the Midwest Clinic 2024, or NAMM 2025 to see Yamaha’s continued commitment to quality and innovation in music education and performance.
